WOW RIPS Is Live at WOW Vegas: Get SC 1 Free + $5 Off

WOW Vegas has announced WOW RIPS, a virtual pack-opening and card-trading platform that brings more fun to players.

In mid-September, WOW Vegas casino, a very popular US sweepstakes casino, announced on social media and via email promotions that it was about to launch a new card-trading platform called WOW RIPS.

Like a few other sweepstakes casinos, WOW Vegas created a new section where customers can exchange SC for card package openings. With each unpacking, players can receive Pokémon and multi-sport trading card packs.

If you’re a card fan, already have a collection on another sweepstakes casino site but want to start a new one, or want your first collection, stick with us and discover what WOW RIPS offers.

What Is WOW RIPS?

WOW RIPS is a new pack-opening and card-trading platform powered by WOW Vegas Casino. This is a relatively new concept in sweepstakes casinos, and only a few sites offer it.

The platform got its name from the word “rip,” which evokes ripping open a pack of cards and eagerly seeing what’s inside.

This trend took off in 2006, when Topps introduced Allen & Ginter baseball cards. Just as you would buy a pack of cards, open it in person to see what you get, and add it to your physical collection, you can now do the same virtually. The first digital rips began emerging in late 2025 on independent platforms, and the trend later spread to sweepstakes.

Available cards on the WOW RIPS platform include Pokémon and multi-sport trading card packs.

Since WOW Vegas is a sweepstakes site, players can’t buy SC to open card packs. The platform keeps its dual-currency system, where purchases are optional and no purchase is necessary to play.

This further means you can continue to collect SC the way you did before: through mail-ins, no-purchase, daily login, and refer-a-friend WOW Vegas bonuses, along with various challenges, tournaments, and promotions.

The only optional purchase on WOW Vegas is WOW Coin (WC) packages. Some packages include free SC, but buying them is never required to collect SC.

Card pack prices vary and are listed in SC, with SC valued at 1 SC = $1 for redemptions.

Once players see the cards they’ve drawn, they have three options:

  • Sell: If you don’t like the cards you receive, you can put them up for sale.
  • Store: If you love the cards you get, you can keep them in your vault.
  • Ship: With this option, you can have physical equivalents of your cards delivered to your door.

First RIP Promotion (1 SC)

As it is one of the free SC casinos, WOW Vegas offered a bonus right after it launched its new platform: a free SC to open your first package, worth $1. This incentive is available within the promo section on both the desktop and mobile site. To claim it, just open and activate it.

Next, head over to the WOW RIPS section and use your Sweeps Coin to open your first package. Players then head to the WOW RIPS section and use the free SC to open their first pack.

Existing players can use 1 SC to open packages immediately. If they decide they want to open more, they will be able to use their SC collected in other ways, with a standard 1 SC = $1 ratio (e.g., spending 5 SC for a $5 pack of cards).

WOW RIPS Celebration ($5 Off)

The free pack wasn’t the only launch offer. WOW Vegas also discounted a WOW Coin package from $29.99 to $24.99, giving 1.5 million WOW Coins plus 30 free SC.

First, the mere amount of GC and SC you can get for the original price ($29.99) is more than what many sweepstakes casinos offer. On top of that, you get 6% or %5 off for a bundle containing 30 SC. As this operator posted, you can use this for both pack opening and slot play, with 25 SC reserved for cards and 5 SC for slot games.
