The Stake.us Weekly Treasure Hunt puts SC10,000 in guaranteed prizes on the table every Saturday through December 31, 2026. Entry is SC20. Finishing high still matters, but the Mystery Bounties give you another target once they kick in. Knock out another player at the right stage and there’s extra Stake Cash attached.
The name is a little misleading. There aren’t clues hidden around Stake.us, and there’s no secret code waiting at the end. The treasure is at the poker table. Survive until the bounty stage, knock somebody out, and their randomized Mystery Bounty Chest becomes yours.

SC20 for a shot at an SC10,000 guaranteed tournament is the headline here. That’s 500 times the entry price, but don’t read that as 500 entries or an SC10,000 first-place prize. Part of a Mystery Bounty tournament’s entry money goes into a separate bounty pool.
What’s missing is just as useful to know. Stake.us doesn’t publish the Weekly Treasure Hunt bounty table, maximum Mystery Bounty, or odds for each chest on the public promo page. That’s disappointing for an SC20 tournament because it leaves players without a clear picture of how much bounty upside they’re actually chasing.
How Does the Stake.us Weekly Treasure Hunt Work?
Finding the tournament is simple. Open Stake Poker, select Tournaments, then search for βThe Weekly Treasure Hunt.β Registration costs SC20. From there, the tournament plays normally until the field reaches the In The Money, or ITM, stage.
Nothing extra comes with those early knockouts. Mystery Bounties don’t start until the tournament reaches ITM. From there, eliminating another eligible player opens their randomized Mystery Bounty Chest.
What you’ll find inside is another question. Chests have different values, so one knockout could pay far more than another.
That makes survival more important than the Treasure Hunt name might suggest. Bust three opponents early? No Mystery Bounties. Reach ITM and eliminate one player afterward? Now there’s a chest attached to it.
One more prize wrinkle at the end. Win the whole tournament and Stake awards you the contents of your own Mystery Bounty Chest too.
How to Enter the Weekly Treasure Hunt
You don’t need a special Stake.us promo code to enter the Weekly Treasure Hunt.
- Sign in to your eligible Stake.us account.
- Open the Stake Poker lobby.
- Select Tournaments.
- Search for The Weekly Treasure Hunt.
- Register for SC20.
- Play until the ITM stage to become eligible for Mystery Bounties.
Just remember what the SC20 gets you: a tournament entry, not a bonus. There’s no guaranteed Stake Cash coming back simply for registering.
The Treasure Hunt is only one part of the rewards setup. The full Stake.us review covers how Stake Cash and Gold Coins work alongside poker, casino-style games, and the site’s other promotions.
What Are the Odds of Winning a Mystery Bounty?
Stake doesn’t publish a percentage, and that’s a frustrating gap.
How rare is the biggest chest? There’s no useful number to give. Stake says the Mystery Bounties are random and vary in value, but the actual bounty table isn’t public. Calling the top reward a 1-in-20 or 1-in-500 chance would be a guess.
This isn’t pure luck, either. You still have to reach ITM and knock somebody out before you even get a chest. Playing well can give you more shots at a bounty. What comes out of each chest is the part you can’t control.
Until Stake publishes the distribution, view any exact Mystery Bounty odds skeptically.
Weekly Treasure Hunt Vs. Stake.us Bonus Drops
Bonus Drops are where codes actually matter. The Weekly Treasure Hunt isn’t that kind of promotion.
Bonus Drop codes are a different story. Stake.us shares them through Telegram, X, Instagram, and other channels, and they’re redeemed under Account > Settings > Offers > Redeem Bonus Drop. Timing matters here. Codes can expire or run out of their available prize pool, and individual drops may have their own play requirements.
The Weekly Treasure Hunt works differently. There is no code to copy and no social media clue needed for entry. You register for the Saturday poker tournament and earn Mystery Bounty opportunities through eliminations after ITM.

Can Weekly Treasure Hunt Prizes Be Redeemed?
Stake Cash is Stake.us’s sweepstakes currency and can become eligible for prize redemption once you meet the applicable play requirements. Gold Coins work differently and aren’t redeemable for prizes. Stake.us also states that it doesn’t offer real-money gambling and that you don’t need to make a purchase to participate in its sweepstakes.
The promotion page doesn’t clearly state when Weekly Treasure Hunt winnings become redeemable. That’s worth knowing before putting up SC20. Some promotional Stake Cash comes with play requirements, and Stake doesn’t publicly spell out how it treats these tournament winnings. An SC balance showing as won shouldn’t automatically be read as immediately redeemable.
Who Can Play the Stake.us Weekly Treasure Hunt?
Stake.us is 21+ and currently excludes players in 22 states: Arizona, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Vermont, Washington, and West Virginia.
That’s a long exclusion list, and sweepstakes availability has been changing quickly across the US. Someone who played Stake.us before shouldn’t assume they’re still eligible, especially after moving or while traveling.
