SpeedSweeps just dropped Endorphina’s Dia de Los Muertos 2, a 6-reel, 5-row grid slot that’s a sequel to “the original Dia de Los Muertos,” celebrating the Mexican Day of the Dead (also known as the Día de los Muertos festival).
Symbols are fitting to the theme, going from La Calavera Catrina to a decorated guitar, Maracas, chilli pepper, lime, different-colored skulls, and marigold multipliers. There’s also a Grim Reaper figure lurking nearby, for a slight horror-and-festive twist. This joins SpeedSweeps’ 2,200+ casino-style games; playable with exclusives like the 50,000 Gold Coins and 1 Sweeps Coin signup offer.

As for special symbols, we have La Calavera Catrina (herself), who serves as the scatter, activating the bonus game. Then there’s the marigold with 2-500x multipliers. Note, the game plays out with a cascading or tumbling mechanic. Going by our SpeedSweeps Casino review, we found two (2) key bonus features and here’s how they work:
- Free Spins Bonus Game (with Multiplier Accumulator): When 4+ Catrina BONUS symbols hit anywhere on the reels. This triggers the bonus game with 15 Spins to start with. Herein, 2-500x multipliers may appear on the reels. However, the said multipliers only activate at the end of a cascade, accumulate in the duration of the bonus game (they stack up), and apply to the final result without triggering further tumbles. That cleared, landing 3+ BONUS symbols during the free spins round adds +5 extra Spins to play.
- Multipliers in the Base Game: The same 2-500x multipliers can also land during regular spins and base game cascades, albeit at random. Herein, they work similarly to before, only applying their value at the end of a cascade spin result.
Alternatively, you can opt for the BONUS POP option to instantly get you to the bonus game with 15 spins to start with.
