PlayFame has launched a boosted refer-a-friend promo running from March 12 until April 13, giving eligible players the chance to collect up to 300,000 GC and 140 SC for each successful referral they bring to the site.
This is a temporary upgrade to PlayFame’s existing referral program, which normally rewards up to 160,000 GC and 70 SC per referral. The boosted version essentially doubles every number in that structure for a limited window, so it’s worth understanding how the tiers and referral process work before the promotion wraps up in mid-April.
How the Reward Looks Across Two Tiers
The figure of 300,000 GC and 140 SC is an “up to” number, and the full amount depends on what your referred friend does after signing up.
Tier 1: The Starter Reward
Once your referred friend makes $50 or more in optional GC purchases, you’ll receive up to 100,000 GC and 40 SC, no sweepstakes bonus code needed. That’s the first chunk, and it kicks in at a relatively low threshold compared to the second tier.
Tier 2: The Full Reward
When your friend’s total optional GC purchases hit $900 or more, the remaining 200,000 GC and 100 SC get added on top. So reaching the full 300,000 GC and 140 SC total requires your friend to be fairly active with their optional GC purchases over time.
Sharing Your Referral Link Is the Only Way in
This promotion works through a unique referral link rather than a typed PlayFame promo code, which is a detail that you will want to make note of if you’re planning to share it with friends.
Where to Find Your Link
You’ll need to head to the “Refer a Friend” section in PlayFame’s menu, where you can copy your personal referral link. From there, you can just send it to whoever you’d like to invite, and the site handles the tracking automatically from there.
What Triggers the Reward
Your friend has to sign up through your specific link and then make qualifying optional GC purchases. Both of those steps need to happen for anything to land in your account, so simply sharing the link on its own won’t do it.
