- Teams: Dallas Mavericks vs Los Angeles Lakers
- Date: Wednesday, October 15, 2025
- Time: 07:30 PM Pacific Daylight Time (PDT)
- Venue: T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas, NV
LA Lakers, led by superstars LeBron James and the newly acquired Luka Dončić, aim to start the 2025/26 season strong after a first-round playoff exit in the 2024/2025 NBA season. They’ll now face the Dallas Mavericks, whom they’ve won three times in their previous five fixtures.
This preseason clash will offer the Mavericks a chance to measure their revamped squad against the Lakers. However, the team has one major injury concern: key star Kyrie Irving is on the sidelines recovering from a torn ACL (Anterior Cruciate Ligament), with no return date set.
But don’t rule the Mavericks out. A team led by Anthony Davis and its 2025 number one draft pick, Cooper Flagg, can have enough firepower to trouble the Lakers in this preseason game.
