No Purchase Offers – How They Work
At no purchase sweepstakes casinos, you don’t use real money to play the games in their catalog. Instead, you play with virtual currencies. There are two main types: Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins.
GC are used for fun, meaning they have no monetary value. You play them purely for entertainment. SC are for participating in promotional mode, meaning any prizes you get in SC are potentially redeemable for cash or other prizes once you meet certain requirements, like a minimum accumulated amount.
Sweeps casinos run on a free-to-play model, so they have to offer these virtual currencies for free to their players, and that’s where no purchase bonuses come from.
There are several types of no purchase bonuses. The most common are:
- Sign up bonuses: you get them for signing up
- Daily logins: you get a set amount of virtual currency every time you log in
- Giveaways: you take part on social media for a chance at a bonus
There are other ways too, like AMOE, where you send a mail-in request for free Sweeps Coins.
