Virgin Games has swapped out one of its longest-running promotions for something new. Prize Picks and its monthly companion VIP Picks, together known as the Daily and Monthly Game, are gone, and in their place sits a fresh reward called Prize Wheel.
Virgin Games confirmed the switch through its own help centre. “We’ve changed our rewards offering,” the notice reads, “the Daily and Monthly Game is no longer available.” Prize Wheel is what’s stepped in to fill that gap.
What Is Prize Wheel?
Virgin Games is billing Prize Wheel as a first-of-its-kind reward on the site, and the mechanic is a genuine departure from the old pick-a-tile format.
Instead of logging in once a day to play a free mini-game, Prize Wheel ties rewards directly to how much you actually spend on slots. A progress bar tracks your play, and once you cross a set spend threshold, you earn a guaranteed spin on the wheel.
Any wager on any slot counts toward that progress, though Instant Games are excluded. There’s a visible tracker on both the Promotions page and the Slots page, so you can see exactly how close you are to your next spin.
How It Works Week to Week
Prize Wheel runs on a weekly cycle, resetting every Monday at midnight regardless of how much progress you’d built up. There are four tiers to climb through each week: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum, each with its own wheel to spin.
Once your progress bar fills, the wheel unlocks within about 15 seconds, and you’ve got a full week to actually spin it before it expires. Earn more than one wheel before you get around to spinning them, and you can either work through them one at a time or use a “spin all” option to clear them in one go.
All prizes on offer are cash, though a payout isn’t guaranteed on every single spin, only the spin itself is guaranteed once you hit a threshold. Whatever you do win comes with no restrictions attached, so it can be withdrawn or used on any game you like.
One thing worth flagging: Prize Wheel is currently invite-only. Players need to opt in to start tracking progress, so it isn’t automatically live on every account the way Prize Picks was.
Comparing the Wider Market
A reward tied to spend rather than daily logins is a different approach from most casino loyalty schemes, and it won’t suit everyone the same way a free daily pick-and-win did.

Other Offers Worth Checking
If Prize Wheel’s invite-only setup means it isn’t live on your account yet, it might be worth looking elsewhere for an active deal in the meantime.
