Sweepstakes casinos like Zonko will often reward you with a bonus just for joining the site. When you sign up through the promotional banners on this page, you’ll receive 3,000 Gold Coins. This is often called a Zonko no-deposit bonus, but it’s actually a no-purchase bonus as real money gaming isn’t allowed at sweepstakes casinos.
If you’re new to Zonko, note that you’ll be using virtual currencies called Gold Coins (GC) and Sweeps Coins (SC) to play the available games instead of real money. As we covered in our
Zonko review, Gold Coins are used for standard gameplay and strictly for entertainment. You can use them to play Zonko’s selection of 500+ games, but they can’t be redeemed for real-world prizes under any circumstances.
Sweeps Coins are the second virtual currency, though none is included in the no-purchase welcome bonus. With Sweeps Coins, you’ll be playing in the promotional sweepstakes mode where your SC winnings can be redeemed for real rewards like gift cards and cash prizes after satisfying the relevant requirements.
Optional GC Purchase Deal
Zonko also has a first GC purchase offer available if you decide to buy a Gold Coin bundle. You can get 112,000 Gold Coins for $20 if you choose to buy an optional GC bundle. Claiming the offer also unlocks a bonus of 75 free Sweeps Coins, along with a spin of the Infinity Wheel. Rewards from the Infinity Wheel range from 2 SC to 15 SC depending on where the pointer lands.
You’ll first collect 60,000 GC and unlock 50 free SC after making your optional GC purchase, while the remaining 52,000 GC and 25 free SC is awarded as an Instant Powerboost bonus over the next eight days. You do need to log in each day to receive the full value of the Instant Powerboost.
You don’t need a Zonko promo code to qualify for either offer. You can claim them directly from the store as soon as your account is set up.

Invite friends to Zonko and get rewarded
Zonko bonus offers go beyond the sign-up reward. You’ll have access to more promos. Here are the top offers we found:
Missions and Tournaments
A good way to accumulate more Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins is by completing daily missions and tournaments available in the promotions tab. Right now, there are several missions and tournaments that only require engaging in simple tasks such as spinning certain slots a number of times or hitting a set multiplier. You can join most of these tournaments for free and pick up virtual currencies or Stars based on how well you perform. There’s no requirement for a Zonko promo code for any of these rewards.
Winfinite Wednesday
Winfinite Wednesday is a weekly scratchcard promotion where you’ll receive a scratchcard that can reveal Gold Coins or Sweeps Coins as rewards.
Referral Bonus
There’s a growing interest in sweepstakes casinos, and if you have friends who are curious about these sites, you can invite them to join Zonko using your referral link. If they sign up and make a qualifying GC purchase, you’ll receive 10 Sweeps Coins as a referral reward. Bear in mind that this is optional, and your friends can enjoy the games for free without having to spend a cent.
Mail-in Requests
Sweepstakes casinos are required to give you an alternate method of entry where you can collect Sweeps Coins. There’s no SC included in the no-purchase bonus, but you can send a request to receive three Sweeps Coins for each approved entry. No special code is required, but you must follow the instructions listed in the sweepstakes rules.
Zonko VIP Program
Zonko has a seven-tier VIP program that rewards you for staying active on the site. You’ll climb the ranks by accumulating Stars from your gaming sessions, completing missions, and other promotions. Stars collected through gameplay can also be exchanged for additional Sweeps Coins in the store.
The benefits of the VIP program include bonus Sweeps Coins, mystery gifts, and better access to other ongoing bonuses.

Top Tips for Using Zonko Promotions
Once you start playing at Zonko, you can follow these tips to help you claim and use the promotions available on the site:
🎮 Join Tournaments and Daily Missions
Many Zonko tournaments are free to enter, which means you simply need to opt in to join, and your regular gaming sessions count towards your leaderboard progress.
These challenges usually involve simple gameplay tasks, such as spinning the reels on a specific slot a set number of times, achieving consecutive wins, or triggering a multiplier or bonus round.
There are plenty of challenges available each day and week, and current missions like Ruby Raid and Gold Rush can reward you with Sweeps Coins, Gold Coins, or Stars that are useful in climbing up the VIP tiers.
✉️ Don’t Ignore Mail-In Requests
You can send a handwritten request following the instructions on the site’s sweepstakes rules to receive 3 Sweeps Coins per entry through the Alternative Method of Entry (AMOE). This bonus is worth considering since the welcome offer doesn’t include any Sweeps Coins.
📜 Understand the Sweepstakes Rules
To get the most from your Sweeps Coins, make sure you understand how Zonko’s SC redemption rules work. Sweeps Coins must be used in gameplay at least once before they are eligible for redemption, and you must have a minimum of 50 eligible SC in your account for gift cards or 100 SC for cash prizes. Your KYC verification must also be completed.
🛡️ Use the Responsible Gaming Tools
It’s easy to get caught up in the fun of playing online games. However, maintaining healthy gaming habits is crucial and there are a couple of tools at Zonko to help you do just that. Firstly, you can take a break from your account and from playing the games for a short period if you feel you need one.
If you want an extended time off, there’s also a self-exclusion option where you can take at least six months away from the site. To activate either of these, you’ll need to send an email to the support team with the subject appropriately labelled.
Conclusion: Zonko Promo Codes Aren’t Required
The key takeaway is that you don’t need a promo code to claim bonuses at Zonko. Instead, click on the banners on this page to visit the site and sign up for an account.
After creating your account, you’ll receive 3,000 Gold Coins for free. But that isn’t all. There are more bonuses available to returning players, including a referral bonus, daily missions and challenges, discounted optional Gold Coin bundles, a rewarding VIP program, and a mail-in option for 3 Sweeps Coins.
