Our The Boss Casino review looks at the site after a lobby expansion that pushed it past 2,300 games. We tested the free sign-up coins, the promotions and the prize redemption rules.
You’ll also find the redemption caps tucked into the terms and one turnover rule that changes which games count. Read on before you request your first Sweeps Coins prize.

Overview of the Gameplay at The Boss Casino
If you read any
BigPirate reviews, you would be familiar with the gameplay at sweepstakes casinos. The Boss Casino also follows the sweepstakes model, meaning that all gameplay is free using two virtual currencies: Gold Coins (GC) and Sweeps Coins (SC).
Gold Coins are used to play social casino games for fun. You can get GC for free with several bonuses and by making optional GC purchases. Sweeps Coins are used to enter sweepstakes mode. SC winnings can be redeemed for real-world prizes once the relevant terms are met. You are not allowed to make SC purchases, but you can get free SC with a few promotions.
Is The Boss Casino a Legitimate Social Casino?
Whether you’re asking if
Thrillcoins
is legit or checking out The Boss Casino, the first rule is the same: only play at sweepstakes casinos that accept players from your state.
The Boss Casino is currently open in 39 US states. Its terms list 11 excluded territories: California, Connecticut, Idaho, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York and Washington. Tennessee has been dropped from that list, which is why the count is now 39.
The site is run by Jefe Limited, a company registered in Nicosia, Cyprus. GC purchases go through its sister domain, theboss.casino, so don’t be surprised when the store opens on a different URL.
Player accounts are password-protected, and KYC checks are required before any prize redemption. The banking platform is encrypted, and you’ll find responsible social gameplay tools in your account.

Every new player gets a free sign-up reward. When we put this review together, we received 2,000 Gold Coins and 2 Sweeps Coins after creating an account and verifying our email and phone number.
The SC carries a 1x playthrough, so you only need to play it through once. Keep in mind that winnings from free SC, including this welcome bonus, are capped at $500 when you redeem.
The welcome package also includes a 150% first GC purchase reward. Purchases are optional, so you can skip it and stick to free play. If you do take it, only slot games count towards that offer’s turnover.
For more details about the 150% first GC purchase reward, head over to our

Insight Into the Promotions for Existing Players
Existing players get much more than a daily wheel spin. We found a referral program, a mail-in bonus and VIP rewards, plus several smaller rewards tied to how often you play. The table below covers the main offers, and our The Boss Casino bonus guide goes into each one in more detail.

The Boss Casino Sweepstakes Casino Review: Unpacking the Casino-style Games
The biggest change at The Boss Casino is the size of its lobby. After removing duplicate listings, we counted just over 2,300 unique games from 41 active providers. Many titles appear in several categories, so the raw totals look bigger than the real catalogue.
Most of the games come from established studios. Hacksaw Gaming leads by a wide margin, with Betsoft, BGaming and Penguin King next in line. Smaller studios such as Slotmill fill out the rest.
Top Providers by Game Count at The Boss Casino
We sorted the lobby by studio to see who supplies the bulk of the games. These seven providers account for more than half of the catalogue.

All casino-style titles are available to play for fun with your GC and in sweepstakes mode with your SC. You can also opt in for social casino jackpots, with additional prizes available with your GC and SC gameplay. Leaderboards run in the lobby too.
Slots still make up the largest share, including Megaways, fishing games and jackpot titles. Our picks for sweepstakes mode are Midnight Bandits (Betsoft), Penguins Megaways (Spinoro) and Sphere Smash (Penguin King).
ICONIC21 runs the social live casino, with 47 titles covering live dealer tables and game shows. If you want something quick to learn, try Gravity Roulette, Speed Blackjack or Crash Live. You can chat with the dealers and presenters while you play.
The Desktop Website Is Easy to Use
The Boss Casino has a user-friendly desktop website that should pose no issues for new players. The brand has gone with a dark background, and it works well with the social casino gaming titles and animations. Navigating the website is seamless, and there are several banners and a search tool, which makes it easy to find what you are looking for.
We spent time on every section of the website, and all pages loaded quickly and were clutter-free. At the bottom of the page are your information toolkits, such as the responsible social gameplay page and terms and conditions, while the left-hand side has shortcuts to the different social casino gaming genres, such as slots and live dealer games.

Play Casino-style Games on the Go with the Mobile Site
Similar to our
Courtside ratings
for the mobile sweepstakes experience, we also scored The Boss Casino well for the mobile sweepstakes gameplay. Despite no mobile apps, you can still play casino-style games on the go with the mobile-optimized website.
The mobile site is compatible with most devices, including iOS and Android. You can access the mobile platform by entering The Boss Casino URL into your browser, and the site should load within seconds. Since the mobile version mirrors the desktop version, you can access the same features, such as playing the same social casino games, claiming bonuses on the go and making optional GC purchases.
Safe and Secure GC Purchases and SC Prize Redemptions
The banking platform at The Boss Casino is encrypted just like the one we discussed in our
Acebet review. Thanks to the encrypted banking platform, you should not worry about your private details being leaked or your optional GC purchases not being processed. Remember that all GC purchases are optional, but if you want to purchase a GC bundle, then the available payment methods include Visa, Mastercard, Google Pay and Discover. Most GC bundles come with free Sweeps Coins, and as soon as your payment is processed, you should receive your virtual currencies.
Per the terms and conditions, you will not be allowed to redeem an SC prize until your KYC documents (proof of ID and address) have been submitted and approved. You must ensure that you play through your SC winnings at least once and have a minimum of 100 SC for cash prizes and gift card vouchers. While we would have liked to see a smaller SC limit for gift card redemptions, the positive is that all SC prize redemptions are speedy, and it takes between two and five working days to receive your SC prize.

Verdict – The Boss Casino Ticks Plenty of Right Boxes
That concludes this The Boss Casino sweepstakes casino review. There have been several changes to the overall sweepstakes experience at the brand, and several features stood out to us. The bigger social casino gaming lobby ticks plenty of right boxes, especially as there are now diverse casino-style games, including immersive live dealer games.
The bonuses are also another strong point, with plenty of offers for both new and existing players. If we had to find room for improvement, then it would be nice to see a smaller minimum SC redemption limit for gift cards, as 100 SC is above the industry standard of 50 SC for gift card vouchers. However, the SC prize redemption times are speedy, and you should still receive your SC prizes within a few days.
Before we go, do not forget that to fast-track your registration at the platform, you can use the links or banners on this page. That’ll help you claim your free welcome reward and then start playing any of the 2,000 social casino games.
