Sweepstars is a sweepstakes casino, so promotions are at the very heart of this platform. To play the site’s casino-style games, you’ll need Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins, which can be claimed for free through various promotions. It’s also possible to purchase Gold Coins voluntarily through the site’s store, but we’ll get onto this more later.
After you’ve racked up enough Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins through the various Sweepstars promotions, you’ll also need to understand the gameplay differences. When you play with Gold Coins, you enter standard play, which takes an entertainment and practice approach. However, when you play with Sweeps Coins, you enter promotional play, and any SC winnings you accumulate can be redeemed for prizes, including gift cards and cash prizes.

Who Can Actually Claim This Welcome Offer?
You will notice that during the registration process, you’ll need to confirm you meet the eligibility requirements to create an account. This includes being at least 18 years old and residing in a US state where Sweepstars operates. At the time of writing, the restricted states include California, Connecticut, Idaho, Louisiana, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Tennessee, and Washington.
How Does the Sweepstars Welcome Bonus Compare to Others?
This is one of the most generous sweepstakes sign-up offers you’ll find right now. It offers a healthy balance of Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins when compared to some of the best sweepstakes casinos. For example, some established brands offer 7,500 GC and 2.5 free SC, while other lesser-known brands would offer around 50,000 GC and 1 SC.

Treasure Scope: Get Rewards on Additional GC Purchases
Another fun Sweepstars bonus for US players is the Treasure Scope promo. When you make four or more Gold Coin purchases of at least $19.99, you’ll fully charge the cosmic telescope. This means that the telescope will pick a star system and reveal a random prize of up to 80 free Sweeps Coins and 30 Stardust.
What Is Stardust and How Is It Used at Sweepstars?
Stardust is another type of virtual currency found at Sweepstars. It cannot be purchased directly, but it can be obtained for free through Gold Coin purchases or by participating in various activities across this sweepstakes casino. The Stardust you receive can be used to redeem free Sweeps Coins, Free Plays on selected slots, or a Spin on the Wheel of Fate.
For example, while testing the Sweepstars Casino, we accumulated 21 Stardust. We used our full balance to redeem 5 Free Plays on the Rainbow Ray slot game by Endorphina with a play value of 0.20 free SC per spin. It’s another fun way to collect more free rewards at this sweepstakes casino.
Daily Missions: Tick Off a New Task Every Day for Free Rewards
If you’re looking for a Sweepstars daily bonus, then the daily missions are perfect for you. Every 24 hours, you’ll be tasked with completing a new set of missions at this sweepstakes casino. If you complete them before the end of the day, you’ll receive various rewards, including free Gold Coins, Sweeps Coins, and Stardust. The size of the reward you can receive usually scales with the difficulty of the task.
Here are a few examples of the daily missions you can expect:
Land a 25x multiplier while playing in SC mode
Accumulate 10,000 Gold Coins through wins
Play a total of 20 SC in any games
Make a voluntary Gold Coins purchase of $4.99 or more
Play 75 rounds in any game of your choice.
On our first day at Sweepstars, we were set with a task of winning 10,000 Gold Coins with a minimum play of 100 Gold Coins per round. This awarded a prize of 1,500 Gold Coins and 1 free Stardust.
Compete in Star Races for a Chance to Win a Share of the Prize Pool
Star Races are the sweepstakes casino tournaments that you’ll find at Sweepstars, and they can be accessed through a button in the main menu. Here you’ll find a range of both Gold Coin and Sweeps Coin tournaments to enter. Each has its own rule set and prize pools, so you’ll need to read the rules and choose a tournament you’re comfortable with.
That said, we found that the vast majority of tournaments used a similar points system. Which is as follows:
Get 2 points when landing a win between 2x and 10x
Get 10 points when landing a win between 10x and 25x
Get 25 points when landing a win above 25x
The more points you can accumulate, the higher you’ll rank on the competitive leaderboard. Only the top-ranking players will receive a share of the prize pool, which can include free Gold Coins, Sweeps Coins, and Stardust.

Send Your Sweepstars Referral Code to Friends for More Free GC & SC
By referring one of your friends to the Sweepstars sweepstakes casino, you can claim a share of 20,000 Gold Coins and 25 free Sweeps Coins. However, this referral bonus is split between you and your friend. Here’s a breakdown of the rewards you each receive:
Referrer rewards: 10,000 Gold Coins and 20 free Sweeps Coins
To qualify, your friend must register using your unique Sweepstars referral code or link. They must also make voluntary Gold Coin purchases totalling at least $24.99 during their time at this sweepstakes casino. You’ll only receive the bonus if both conditions are met.
Social Media Giveaways on Instagram and Facebook
Another avenue to explore for free rewards at Sweepstars is the social media giveaways featured regularly across Facebook and Instagram. One giveaway that we entered required us to comment on an Instagram post after following the page. At the end of the week, 3 winners were picked from the comments to receive 30 Free Plays each. Unfortunately, we weren’t among the list of winners, but if we were, a member of the team would have contacted us via direct message for our account information. Following this, the rewards would have been automatically added to our account.
