At Lucky Slots, real money gaming isn’t supported because the site operates on a sweepstakes model. Rather than real money, you’ll use virtual currencies: Gold Coins (GC) and Sweeps Coins (SC) to play casino-style games.
After registering, the site awarded us a no-purchase welcome bonus of 300,000 GC and 3 SC. We also collected more virtual currencies through other promotions, such as daily races, referral rewards, and mail-in entries. How Does Lucky Slots Work?
Lucky Slots is an online sweepstakes casino that runs on virtual currencies. You can’t use real money to play here because of its sweepstakes model. Instead, you’ll be given Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins to access your favorite casino-style games. Although both currencies serve as entries to playing casino-style games, they work differently.
Here’s a quick overview:
Gold Coins
Gold Coins let you play in standard mode, but for fun only. Any GC game rewards can’t be exchanged or redeemed for real prizes. You can also buy them directly from the site’s virtual currency store if you run out. However, GC pack purchases are non-mandatory, as the site features other promotions to claim them for free.
Sweeps Coins
Sweeps Coins are used for promotional play and are redeemable for real prizes. You can’t purchase them from the virtual currency store; they’re only obtained from bonuses and gameplay.
To redeem them, Lucky Slots has a few conditions you need to meet. These include:
Know Your Customer (KYC) requirement (Identity verification and proof of address).
Complete the 1x SC playthrough requirement.
Have a minimum of 100 eligible Sweeps Coins.
