Luckyland Slots: Pros and Cons
Retro website design with great usability
Downloadable app available for Android devices
Excellent welcome bonus that gives 10 Sweeps Coins
Getting Started with LuckyLand Slots – Welcome Bonus, Loyalty Scheme, Etc.
First off, we want to delve into the basics of LuckyLand Slots including its currencies, how it works, and the welcome bonus.
LuckyLand Slots Welcome Bonus and How to Get It
The thing that most people want to know about is the welcome bonus so let’s get right to it! You don’t need a
LuckyLand promo code
for this bonus – just register an account and you get the following two perks:
7,777 Gold Coins and 10 Sweeps Coins.
GC first purchase bonus of 50,000 GC and 10 SC for $4.99.
The initial lump sum of Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins you get is excellent. We’ve seen only a handful of sweepstakes casinos that offer more than 5 SC for their welcome bonus, so 10 SC is huge. We think the optional GC first purchase bonus also represents brilliant value as you essentially get a 100% bonus.
Although we registered long before we created this LuckyLand Slots review, we can remember how we got the welcome bonus and it included registering an account. This is done via the following steps:
Open the LuckyLand Slots website using one of the banners or links on this page.
Click on the register button.
Complete the registration form.
Accept the terms and conditions.
Finalize the registration form.
Verify your email by clicking the link if needed.
Login to your account with your new details.
The registration should take less than a minute. We had to verify our email but you might not have to. At some point, you will also need to complete the KYC check before you can make SC redemptions. There are other bonuses such as a daily login bonus and AMOE bonus, but we have a dedicated LuckyLand Slots promo review for this info.
LuckyLand Slots Loyalty Scheme Explained
LuckyLand Slots also has a loyalty scheme which has six levels to work through. You work your way up through the levels by using your Sweeps Coins and making GC package purchases. At each level you essentially get a bonus on any Gold Coin packages you purchase. For example, you need 20 points to reach the silver level and this gives you a 250% bonus on your GC purchases. We like this approach to the loyalty scheme as it offers tangible benefits.
How the Virtual Currency at LuckyLand Slots Works
LuckyLand Slots uses Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins for gameplay instead of real money. Gold Coins have no value and can never be redeemed for cash prizes. In contrast, Sweeps Coins can be redeemed for cash prizes provided you have a minimum balance of 50 SC. There is also a 1x playthrough requirement for bonus SC – this is the playthrough requirement we got, although we’ve seen some LuckyLand Slots reviews mention a 20x playthrough requirement.
For GC purchases you can use Visa, MasterCard, Discover, AMEX, Online Banking, Skrill, and PaySafeCard. SC cash prize redemption requests can be made using Online Banking.
The Technical Bits – LuckyLand Slots Licensing and Support
For this LuckyLand Slots review we’ve got to look at some boring technical stuff too. Licensing and customer support are incredibly important for social casinos so that you know you are getting a fair gaming experience, and so that you can get help if you need it.
No Gambling License Needed
LuckyLand Slots is a US sweepstakes casino which means it doesn’t need a gambling license as there are no real money transactions. Instead, this social casino must comply with US regulations and it does so for 44 US states. It does this by not allowing real money deposits, withdrawals, or gameplay, and by always giving you free Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins.
Currently, LuckyLand Slots is only NOT available in Washington, Idaho, Michigan, Montana, Connecticut, and Nevada. You must also be over 18 to legally play here.
Security Features
We always check the security features of sweepstakes casinos too, so that we know our personal info is safe. When using the LuckyLand Slots website or mobile app you’ll be connected by a secure HTTPS connection. The site also uses SSL encryption for all data transfers. We checked for an SSL certificate and the site had one which was valid.
There’s a range of information sections too dealing with privacy and terms and conditions for using the site. They all appeared in-line with what we would expect a sweepstakes casino to have, and there is also a sweep rules page which is perhaps the most important feature. This details how the GC and SC work and includes instructions for the mail-in bonus and SC redemption process.
Multiple Support Options
Sweepstakes casinos are fairly easy to use and we’ve never really had much need to contact support. However, we always check the customer support options should we need assistance. LuckyLand Slots has a decent support setup with an email ticket system and help center. We couldn’t find any live chat but you might be able to access one based on your location.
The email support system is nothing out of the ordinary and we actually got a reply within an hour which we thought was excellent. This is because from experience, most email support setups take at least 2 hours on average to reply. The replies we got were also detailed and immediately helped with our queries relating to the
sweepstakes casino RTP
and bonus SC playthrough requirements.
If you prefer to get your own help, there is a help center with a range of FAQs relating to basic functions of the site. We also recommend looking at the sweeps rules page as we mentioned above as this explains everything you need to know about the SC currency.
Using LuckyLand Slots – Is It a Good Pick for Beginners?
It’s fine having the technical aspects and underlying virtual currencies in place, but if the sweepstakes casino is difficult to use and looks a mess then we’re not interested in using it. With that in mind, for this LuckyLand Slots review we tested the site, its navigation, and mobile accessibility to see how it worked and if it is a suitable pick for new social casino users.
Website Usability and Design
When you look at sites like the
Pulsz Sweeps Casino, you notice they have a clean and modern design… this isn’t the approach LuckyLand Slots takes! It has one of the most over-the-top designs we’ve seen and we kinda love it. The lobby looks completely different to any site we’ve seen and it feels more like a video game than a sweepstakes casino. It’s clear they’ve gone for a retro style to make you feel like you’re playing at an actual slot machine or something like that and we think it works well.
You’ve got a chunky main menu on the left hand side with big icons and links to the different game categories, while at the bottom there is a fat navigation bar that includes Gold Coin deals and the link to your daily login bonus. For beginners, we think this chunky design with big, obvious icons and links will make it especially easy to navigate and you should have no problem searching through the different game categories.
We can’t say that the site looks polished though and we understand that some people will not like this design choice at all. If you’re expecting a nice clean site with ultra-smooth graphics like Stake or McLuck then you aren’t getting that with LuckyLand Slots. BUT, we urge you to look past that and accept it for what it is – a fun website that doesn’t care about looking posh!
Mobile Accessibility

Explore casino-style slots at LuckyLand Slots
We mainly play social casino games on our phone so mobile accessibility is important for us. We first tested the mobile-browser version of LuckyLand slots on our Samsung Galaxy S23 and it works fine. You essentially get the same chunky layout as the desktop website and we think that the big buttons and links work really well for touchscreens. We also found the page speeds to be quick and the games all loaded without issue.
If you have an iOS device and want a downloadable app then you are out of option. LuckyLand Slots only has a mobile app for Android devices. If you want to get the Android app then you have to download the APK and follow the installation instructions they have on the website. This is because the app isn’t available for direct download from the Google Play Store.
Don’t be concerned about this – an APK is essentially an install file and shouldn’t cause any issues with your smartphone. We followed the download and installation process and had no issues. Sure, it takes longer than installing an app from the Play Store, but only a few minutes. The quality of the app is fantastic and we think that it gave a more satisfying experience than the desktop and mobile-responsive browser versions.
Does LuckyLand Slots Offer an Entertaining Gaming Experience?
With all the technical info done for this LuckyLand Slots review we want to finish by looking at the games and what you can actually play here. Compared to some
new Sweeps Cash casinos
we think the LuckyLand Slots game library could be developed, but as you will see below it has a fun set of slots and plenty of chances for big prizes.

The Games Are Provided by a Limited Range of Top Developers
We always look at who provides the games first for a general idea of the quality of the library and its reliability. LuckyLand Slots only works with a small range of software developers including the following:
Novomatic
ReelPay
Big Wave Gaming
In-house
This is really small compared to many other social casinos as most work with 5-10+ iGaming developers. We also noticed some omissions such as Relax Gaming, and Booming Games, which ultimately means the game library is smaller with less variety.
However, Novomatic, ReelPay, and Big Wave Gaming are all reputable software developers and we’ve had plenty of experience with the retro Novomatic slots. We also like that LuckyLand produces its own games too and they do appear to consistently release new titles every month so we expect the game library to expand over time.
Most Popular Game Categories Are Covered
We think LuckyLand Slots social casino excels the most at video slots as this makes up the mainstay of its library. There is also the following categories at this sweepstakes casino:
Slots
Blackjack
Instant-win arcade games
Bingo
Some of our favorite slots here were the jackpot slots including Alice in LuckyLand, Aztec Quest, and Jurassic Reels. These are three in-house games and they have an excellent theme and gameplay mechanics. For table games, you’ve got single player options including blackjack and roulette and we spent the most time playing Big Hit Blackjack.
The instant-win arcade games offered a unique experience too, compared to traditional arcade games like Crash and Plinko. The games we tried the most included Wealthy Rabbits, Feed The Dragon, and Cheeky Tiki.
Room for Improvement but a Decent Game Library
Whenever we’ve played at LuckyLand Slots we’ve had fun and enjoyed the games. In total, you have around 120+ titles which is admittedly small compared to others. For example, when you look at
WOW Vegas reviews, this site offers 1,500+ games. But, within that limited collection of 120 titles you got some great picks.
We enjoyed the in-house games the most as these have a wonderful retro design and graphics – they certainly aren’t the most advanced games available, but they are charming and have some unique features too. In the future, we would like to see LuckyLand Slots add other game categories like live dealers and work with a wider range of reputable developers so they can expand their overall game offering.
Final Verdict – Is LuckyLand Slots Worth Your Time?
We thoroughly enjoyed writing this LuckyLand Slots review and we hope you now understand how this site works, and what it offers. LuckyLand Slots isn’t perfect, and there are some areas it could improve such as offering an iOS app and a larger overall game collection, but we think in the grand scheme of things these are minor issues and overall it is one of the
best sweepstakes casinos online
in terms of coin distribution and gaming enjoyment.
