Sweepstakes casinos like LuckyBuddha will often reward you with a bonus for signing up. We collected 100,000 Gold Coins and 2 Sweeps Coins as a welcome bonus, and you’ll receive the same too if you register at LuckyBuddha using the banners on this page. This no-purchase bonus is quite generous, as it helps you enjoy the casino-style games at no cost. It’s quite similar to the
WiseSpin bonus
we received while reviewing the sweepstakes casino’s offerings.
If you’re new to LuckyBuddha, note that you’ll be using virtual currencies called Gold Coins (GC) and Sweeps Coins (SC) to play the available games instead of real money. Gold Coins are used for standard gameplay and strictly for entertainment. You can use them to play the brand’s selection of 1,000+ games, but they can’t be redeemed for real-world prizes under any circumstances. You also can’t swap them for Sweeps Coins.
Sweeps Coins are the second virtual currency, and they let you in the promotional sweepstakes mode where your SC winnings can be redeemed for real rewards like cash prizes. This is only possible after a few terms have been satisfied, such as playing with your Sweeps Coins once, having a verified account, and holding a minimum balance of 100 SC.
Optional GC Purchase Deals
If you’d rather start with a larger virtual currency balance, you can choose to take up the first GC purchase offer. There are three optional Gold Coin bundles to choose from. You can only claim one as your starter GC bundle, and each comes with additional Gold Coins and free Sweeps Coins.
You don’t need a LuckyBuddha promo code to access the no-purchase bonus or even the Gold Coin bundle deals.

Additional Bonuses You Can Claim at LuckyBuddha
The best sweepstakes casinos don’t stop at welcome bonuses. Similar to the
WinBonanza bonus
offers, we found more LuckyBuddha bonus offers to claim. There are daily login bonuses, seasonal challenges, referral rewards, free SC from mail-in requests, and a VIP program.
Daily Login Bonus
Daily login bonuses are the norm at sweepstakes casinos. The average we’ve received is around 2,000 GC, but LuckyBuddha has a minimum daily bonus of 5,000 Gold Coins each day, and this can go all the way up to 50,000 Gold Coins. The exact bonus you’ll receive really depends on your VIP tier. We’ve not reached the top ranks, but our bonus is decent.
Thrilling Challenges
These are fun competitions where you go against other players for a chance at a share of the prize pool. If you want even more bonuses, you might want to check out the
CrazyCoins Casino bonus
offers.
Referral Bonus
Inviting your friends to join LuckyBuddha could also see you receiving a bonus. You just have to share your referral link, and if a friend joins and goes on to make their first qualifying GC purchase, you’ll receive 25,000 Gold Coins and 5 Sweeps Coins as a reward. Do remember that your friend can choose to play for free using the available bonuses, and that is totally fine. But we only received our bonus when a qualifying GC purchase was made.
Mail-in Requests
Mail-in requests are an alternate method of collecting free Sweeps Coins. To get this bonus, you must send a handwritten request to the sweepstakes casino address in Alabama. Each successful request can get you 2 Sweeps Coins, but you must follow the instructions listed in the sweepstakes rules exactly. Also, only one mail-in request can be sent per week by each player.
LuckyBuddha VIP Program
LuckyBuddha has a 10-tier VIP program that rewards you for staying active on the site. You’ll climb the ranks by collecting VIP points, with all players starting at Copper and the top level set at Nirvana.
The benefits of the VIP program include live chat access, 0% SC redemption fees, birthday gifts, daily reloads, level-up bonuses, monthly bonuses, VIP tournaments, Wheel of Fortune access, unique merchandise, a VIP host, and a custom VIP program at the higher tiers.

Important Terms to Note – Are Any LuckyBuddha Bonus Codes Needed?
Right now, neither the no-cost 100,000 GC and 2 SC offer, nor optional first GC purchase promos, require LuckyBuddha promo codes for activation. Although to be honest, this can change at any time. If that happens and a code is ever required, you’ll find it listed on the banners around this page.
Bonuses usually come with terms that keep things fair for everyone involved. Here are some of the most important ones to take note of:
Are There Any Sweeps Coin Playthrough Requirements?
Yes, there are. To redeem Sweeps Coins for real-world prizes, we had to play through them once, verify our accounts, and gather up no fewer than 100 SC. GC are only for fun gameplay, so they can’t be exchanged for prizes. And the playthrough requirements aren’t really relevant to them.
Will My Sweeps Coins Expire?
Yes, they can. But that’s quite normal at sweepstakes casinos, so LuckyBuddha isn’t an exception. However, Sweeps Coins only expire if they’ve been left unused for 60 consecutive days.
What Counts Towards the Playthrough Requirement?
During our
LuckyBuddha review, we discovered that not all games contribute equally to clearing the 1x Sweeps Coin playthrough requirement. Slots contribute 100%, table games and video poker just 10%, while instant-win games, arcade games, and scratch cards don’t count at all.
Can I Claim LuckyBuddha Bonuses from Any US State?
Good as these bonuses are, a few restrictions exist. And this is mainly due to age limits and varying state laws regarding sweepstakes gaming. LuckyBuddha’s games and promotions are currently off limits to players in California, Connecticut, Idaho, Indiana, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Montana, New Jersey, Nevada, New York, Tennessee, and Washington.
What Types of Games Can I Use My Bonus On?
A lot. Our LuckyBuddha review found that this site offers more than 1,000 games in total, including slots, table games, scratch cards, instant win games, and live social casino games too.
What’s more, you can use your bonus GC and SC on any of these titles that catches your fancy. Although of course, GC are only playable in just-for-fun GC mode, while SC must be played through on specific games before they can be considered eligible for prize redemption.
Pros and Cons of LuckyBuddha Bonus Offers
LuckyBuddha has several promotions available, which is remarkable, but while there are more positives, there are also a few drawbacks you should be aware of.
Pros and Cons
No LuckyBuddha promo code is needed
100,000 GC and 2 SC welcome bonus
1,000+ casino-style games
Several ongoing promotions
Sweeps Coins expire after 60 days of inactivity
Tips for Using Your LuckyBuddha Bonus
The bonuses are generous enough, but if you still need a few tips to get more from them, here’s what has helped us the most.
💰 Be strategic with your Sweeps Coins
Not every game is useful if you’re working towards clearing the 1x SC playthrough requirement. So you should be a little more strategic with Sweeps Coins. Gold Coins come in larger amounts and can be used freely on games such as instant wins, scratch cards, keno, bingo, and arcade games.
🛠 Use the responsible gaming tools
Sweepstakes casino games are fun, and it’s easy to get lost in the games. However, it’s important to maintain a healthy gaming habit, and there are a couple of tools at LuckyBuddha to help you do just that. You can set GC purchase limits, take breaks, or even schedule a time period that you’ll not be able to access your account.
📅 Check in and claim your daily login bonus regularly
There’s the Tranquility Ladder that rewards players with at least 5,000 Gold Coins each day. The amount can go up to 50,000 GC at higher VIP tiers. So logging in regularly is one of the easiest ways to accumulate GC for your gaming sessions.
Final Verdict – Generous Promotions to Enjoy at LuckyBuddha Right Now
From all indications, LuckyBuddha has the markings of a fun site to play on. It has a good selection of games as well as several no-purchase bonuses to play them with. There’s a free welcome bonus of 100,000 Gold Coins and 2 Sweeps Coins for players from eligible US states, daily login bonuses, referral perks, mail-in requests, and a competitive VIP program.
But remember to put the tips we’ve shared here to good use, such as using your Sweeps Coins only on slots or other games that help you meet the one-time playthrough requirement.
Keen to try out some of LuckyBuddha’s bonuses for yourself? You can sign up from any eligible US state via the banners on this page.
