The first thing you’ll see at Gold Rush City is a welcome bonus of 15,000 Gold Coins and 500 Sweeps Coins, which appears pretty generous, and you won’t need a Gold Rush City promo code to claim it.

Unique Gold Rush City retail kiosk system
Claim Bonus
We recommend that you use your welcome bonus wisely though, as there are no ongoing promotions where you can collect free Gold Coins on the site. The welcome bonus at Gold Rush City is a package that contains 15,000 Gold Coins (GC) and 500 Sweeps Coins (SC).
You won’t need a Gold Rush City bonus code to claim it, and after completing a short registration form, the bonus will appear in your GC and SC balances above the main menu. The only other thing worth noting, is that any unused Sweeps Coins received from this bonus will expire after 90 days.

The Gold Rush City Sign Up Process
You can go directly to the official Gold Rush City website by clicking on any of our page banners. After that just follow these simple steps to register on the site.
Click on the Gold ‘Sign Up’ button located at the top left.
Enter your full name, email address, residential address, DOB, and phone number.
Click ‘Submit’ to close the registration form.
Wait for Gold Rush City to send you an email and click on the confirmation link.
When you are back on the site you can choose a unique password, and then log in.
Gold Rush City App Users
Gold Rush City only offers an app for Android users, there is no equivalent for iOS devices currently. However, the brand does have a mobile-optimized version of its website which you can use instead.
The registration process is a lot different for players who choose to play using the downloadable Gold Rush City Android app. There is no link to the app on the main Gold Rush City website, so you’ll need to go to Google Play and locate it there.
Once you have the app installed, you’ll need to head to one of the Gold Rush City ‘Kiosks’, which are located in various retail venues, to sign up. Once you’ve entered your details, you’ll be given a unique 12-digit PIN to use ready for the next time you visit a Kiosk.
KYC Verification
You don’t need to complete the verification process at this stage, but it will be required when you are ready to request a Sweeps Coin redemption. If you decide to get it out of the way early, you’ll need to have some official documents handy:
Passport, driver’s license, or state-issued photo ID card
A recent utility bill (no more than 3 months old) and a recent bank, or credit card statement

First off, there is no VIP Club, or loyalty program available at Gold Rush City right now, something we also mentioned in our main
Gold Rush City review. However, the brand’s ‘About Us’ page suggests that there is one on the way.
The page has some potential rewards presented as icons, but no specific details. We also noticed a paragraph lower down the page stating that a Gold Coin purchase would be needed to join the program.
Unfortunately, three other promotions we found elsewhere on the website also require you to purchase a GC package to get involved, which is very disappointing indeed.
Gold Rush
We found this promotion on the Gold Rush City Leaderboard page. As the name suggests, this is a Gold Coin-only contest, and any game on the Gold Rush City site is eligible. In essence it’s similar to the slot tournaments we mentioned in our
Sweet Sweeps review.
When the contest ends, the top 20 players on the leaderboard will receive a share of a Sweeps Coin prize pool. The downside is that you must make a Gold Coin package purchase of at least $20 in order to join in.
Spinfinity
You’ll find this leaderboard contest on the Daily Tournament page. Gold Rush City selects a different game every day (it was Flaming Chillies when we completed our review) and there’s a 20,000 SC prize pool ready to be distributed between the top 20 players.
Although the prizes are awarded in Sweeps Coins, you must play the game with Gold Coins only, and you will need to purchase a special “FREE SPINS” package costing $7.77, which gives you 100 Gold Coins to use as spins for that day’s specified game.
Daily 10,000 SC Giveaway
We tracked this down on the Gold Rush City Promotions page, and we found the ‘Giveaway’ part is a tad misleading. This is simply a daily prize draw where a random player is selected, and receives 10,000 Sweeps Coins. Once again, you will need to purchase a Gold Coin package if you want to enter.
Mail-in Request (AMoE)
Gold Rush City clearly likes to spread its promotions around the site, and the final bonus we found was tucked away in the Sweeps Rules. This is an atypical mail-in request, much the same as we found during our
SplashCoins review.
In return for posting a handwritten request to Gold Rush City, you will receive some free Sweeps Coins. Unfortunately the brand doesn’t specify how many SC you get per request, so we can only assume that different players may receive different amounts.
Our Top Tips for Using Your Gold Rush City Welcome Bonus
We can usually come up with plenty of tips for potential players, you only need to check out our
Coinz.us promo
reviews to see what we mean. But Gold Rush City has made this part challenging, due largely to the absence of ongoing promotions. However, we do have a few suggestions to offer.
💰 Make full use of the Gold Coins in your welcome bonus
As things currently stand, Gold Rush City doesn’t have any other bonuses or promotions (beyond the welcome offer) where you can collect free Gold Coins.
As all of the games here can be played with as little as 1 GC per spin, we recommend that you stick to using minimum play amounts. After all, with roughly 250 available games, 15,000 Gold Coins effectively gives you 60 spins for every game.
🛒 Consider making an optional Gold Coin purchase
Although we would always prefer to see more ways to collect free Gold Coins, it’s clear to see that Gold Rush City has opted for a different way of doing things. Although we cannot entirely condone the approach, we noted that there are GC bundles available from $0.99 up to $224.99.
Unusually, even the GC packages at the lower end of the scale have a fairly generous amount of free Sweeps Coins included as a ‘bonus’. If you like the site, and the game library, it is something you may wish to consider.
📬 Make full use of the AMoE at Gold Rush City
If you don’t want to make Gold Coin purchases, which after all are entirely optional, the best way to get more Sweeps Coins at Gold Rush City is by sending in multiple mail-in requests.
You will need to absorb the exact requirements for a successful application, but there is no limit defined for the number of requests you can make, so make the most of that opportunity while it lasts.
Our Overall Thoughts About Gold Rush City Bonuses
We found the Gold Rush City welcome bonus generous, and we also explained that it can go a long way if you use it wisely. We also approve of the game library here. It may be on the smaller side compared to some sweepstakes casinos with just 250 games, but they are all good quality choices, and you can play them with nominal amounts of virtual currency.
On the other side of the coin, we didn’t like that Gold Rush City appears to focus more on Sweeps Coin players than anyone who wants to play for free here, and just for fun with their Gold Coins. However, this perspective may change over time, and hopefully the brand will launch its promised VIP loyalty program soon.

Gold Rush City Promo Code FAQs
No. None of the brand’s current promotions require a code to claim them, including the welcome bonus, which includes 15,000 Gold Coins and 500 Sweeps Coins. However, we did note that some of the ongoing promotions featured on the brand’s site require a Gold Coin purchase.
Gold Rush City bonuses are available to players in 39 US states. You will need to be at least 18 years old to sign up, or the minimum age required by the state where you live, and photo ID will be required to verify both. It’s also worth knowing that you will need to register at a Gold Rush City Kiosk at a land-based site if you choose to download the Android app.
No. This is not an option that Gold Rush City has added to its bonuses and promotions. Beyond the 15,000 Gold Coins and 500 Sweeps Coins welcome offer, most other promotions and tournaments or contests currently displayed on the site require a Gold Coin package purchase.
If you check out the ‘About Us’ page on the Gold Rush City website, the brand has indicated that a tiered rewards program will be coming soon. There is no date specified for an official launch, so we recommend that you check in regularly both here at Next.io, and on the Gold Rush City website for further updates.
