During our Dorados review we explored all of the brand’s official documents and established that it operates legally under US sweepstakes laws. It’s currently available to players in 39 states, the only exceptions being: California, Connecticut, Idaho, Louisiana, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Tennessee, and Washington.
You will need to be at least 21 years old to sign up at Dorados, irrespective of the minimum age for your state, and be able to provide official documents to verify your ID and permanent address.
Virtual Currencies at Dorados
In keeping with its status as a sweepstakes casino, Dorados provides two main virtual currencies to enjoy the casino-style games: Gold Coins (GC) and Gems, which are the brand’s Sweepstakes Coin equivalent. Both can be collected for free via various bonuses and promotions.
In addition, you’ll also find Elixir and Claw Credits, which are a feature of the Dorados ‘world’, which we’ll explain a little later in our review.
Gold Coins (GC)
You can use Gold Coins to play any of the 1,200+ games here for fun and entertainment. You can purchase additional GC packages, but they cannot be redeemed or exchanged. Any purchase of a GC package is also entirely optional and non-mandatory.
Gems
Gems are the Dorados version of Sweepstakes Coins, and they work in the usual way. If you play games and win, you’ll initially receive more Gems. When you have accumulated at least 50 Gems through gameplay, they can be redeemed for a cash prize.
Dorados Welcomes New Players with a Generous Bonus
When you register at Dorados, you’ll receive a free welcome bonus of 20,000 Gold Coins, 2 Gems, and 2 Elixir right away.
You’ll also have the opportunity to purchase an optional Gold Coin package that contains 150% extra GC. This first-GC package purchase offer contains 250,000 Gold Coins and costs $9.99, and Dorados adds 25 Gems, 1 Elixir, and 1 Claw Machine as a free bonus.

Our Experience of Using the Dorados Site
Dorados has opted for an Aztec theme, which provides a pleasant backdrop across the site. On the homepage we found a useful left hand menu containing links to various game categories, a selection of promotions, and the underlying Dorados adventure.
The main part of the page contains a selection of the games you can play in various categories, a list of providers, a video guide to playing on the site, and a footer menu containing important documents like Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, Responsible Gaming Tools, Sweepstakes Rules and the Help Center.
Despite every page containing a huge amount of content, we were impressed with the ease of navigation and page loading speeds, which made the Dorados site a pleasure to explore. We also checked out mobile accessibility, and like many sweepstakes casinos, Dorados has opted for a mobile-optimized version of its website rather than downloadable apps, which performs just as seamlessly as the main site.

24/7 Customer Support at Dorados
We found no fault with the support provision during our Dorados review. We began by exploring the Help Center, where we found a selection of FAQs neatly sub-divided into categories that cover most aspects of the site.
In terms of direct contact, we were able to contact Dorados via email, or live chat. We were suitably impressed to find that the latter is available 24/7 and when we tried it out we were connected to a human agent in less than three minutes.

Payment Options at Dorados
Gold Coin purchases are entirely optional at Dorados, but if you do decide to purchase a GC package, you can use Visa or Mastercard. If you click the ‘Get Gold’ button at the top of the menu, you’ll go to the site’s store where you’ll see all of the available GC packages, which vary in price from $3.99 up to $999.99. Clicking on your preferred GC package will take you to a secure area to enter your card details to complete the GC purchase, and your Gold Coins will appear in your account instantly.
Gem redemptions are completed via bank transfer. But before you can make a Gem redemption request you’ll need to verify your ID and permanent address using a form of photo ID, and a recent utility bill. Eligible Gems winnings can be redeemed in batches of 50, 100, or 200, and it will take 2 to 3 working days for your prize to reach your account.

A Wide Variety of Games in the Dorados Library
Play fun table games on Dorados
Discover live-dealer games on Dorados
For a brand that has only just launched, we were impressed by the number and variety of the games we found at Dorados. And even more so by the fact that there are 45+ game developers represented here, which include the likes of Evolution, Booming Games, NetEnt, ICONIC21, and Playson. We also came across a few new names like HalfSquare and Gamzix, and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of their games. We also particularly liked that Dorados indicates how many games are available for each developer listed, with a clickable link to their page.
🎰 Slot Titles
We estimate there are currently almost 1,000 different slot games to play at Dorados. As you might guess from the list of well-known developers, you’ll find plenty of old favorites here. But we opted to try out some alternatives, like Unicorn Reels from HalfSquare and Lucky Cushions from Boldplay, both of which are games we recommend. As well as displaying slot titles by provider, you can also choose to see Jackpots only, or use the search if you have a certain title in mind.
♠️ Table Games
It was great to see some unusual first person games among the blackjack, baccarat, and roulette variants. We thoroughly enjoyed testing Dreamcatcher, which we’ve only found as a live game previously. We also recommend trying Super Sic Bo, and enjoying a few hands of Caribbean Poker too.
🎲 Live Dealer Tables and Game Shows
With a name like Evolution in the mix, we weren’t surprised to find the full Lightning series on show, along with a lovely collection of live dealer tables powered by ICONIC21. But what really caught our attention was the excellent live game show collection. For a real ‘70s vibe you can play Funky Time Live, or chill out with some Ice Fishing, the latter being the newest addition to this section of Dorados.
🎟️ Scratchcards
We saw a menu option named ‘Scratch & Bingo’ but there are only scratchcards currently on display. Nevertheless, that suggests Dorados will be extending its game categories in the near future. Meanwhile, if you enjoy scratchies, be sure to try The Perfect Scratch, which is exactly that.
We believe the VIP Club is still a work in progress. Compared to the detail we found on the rest of the site, this seems a little incomplete. There are five tiers: Level 1 to Level 5, and a list of the various rewards, but no further details. We’re sure that Dorados has plans afoot here, so it’s something we’ll circle back to another time.
Meanwhile, the real star of the show is the underlying gamification element of the Dorados site, where you aim to rebuild the ‘Lost City of Dorados’. If you’ve ever played a freemium game, you’ll get this right away. Earlier on we mentioned virtual currencies called Elixir and Claw Machines, and this is where they come into play. The aim of the game is to discover and rebuild a series of islands and there’s a whole video guide on how to go about it.
But in short, when you play any games on the site using Gems, you’ll collect 1 Elixir bottle for every 10 Gems played. You can use Elixir to start rebuilding your first city, or you can exchange Elixir bottles for Claw Machine Credits and Free Spins in the Reward Market.
The Claw Machine works like the arcade version, where you aim to pick up a prize and try to transport it to the chute. In this instance you can get free Gems or free Gem spins if you are successful.
There are other elements too, like joining up with other players to ‘raid’ islands, and get more rewards by completing card collections. However, if this doesn’t appeal to you, you don’t need to get involved, it won’t affect ‘normal’ gameplay in any way.
A New Sweepstakes Casino Site That We Recommend Highly
Dorados blends traditional casino-style gaming with an immersive, Aztec-themed world-building adventure. With an immediate welcome gift of 20,000 Gold Coins, 2 Gems, and 2 Elixir, the platform invites you to do more than just spin reels, it encourages you to rebuild the Lost City and engage in interactive features like the Claw Machine.
This gamified approach, combined with a massive library of 1,200+ titles from industry giants like Evolution and NetEnt, creates a unique entertainment ecosystem that feels fresh and rewarding. Whether you’re interested in high-stakes live dealer game shows or simply want to explore new slot titles from emerging developers, Dorados provides a secure, social, and highly engaging environment.
