In this Cider Casino review, we created an account ourselves to see how the platform holds up beyond the promotional claims. Registration only took a few minutes, our no purchase reward was available after we signed up, and we could access the Daily Reward from our account.
We also explored the 500+ game lobby, mobile options, ongoing promotions, customer support and prize rules. Below, you’ll find our honest take on the strongest features, the restrictions worth knowing and a few easily missed terms that could affect your coins or redemptions.
Cider Casino is a freemium
sweepstakes casino
where eligible players aged 18 or older use virtual currencies rather than a traditional cash balance. Three currencies may appear on the platform, and to show you what they mean, we’ve provided more information below.
Gold Coins:
Used for Standard Play and entertainment only. You can collect them through signup and login rewards, gameplay and promotions, or make an optional Gold Coin purchase. They can’t be redeemed for prizes.
Splash Coins:
A non-redeemable Standard Play currency provided to players in California and New York. Splash Coins may be awarded through in-game activities and platform rewards, but they have no cash or prize value.
Sweeps Coins:
Used to enter Promotional Play in eligible states. They can’t be purchased directly, although you may receive them through signup rewards, Gold Coin purchase bonuses, promotions, gameplay or free alternative entry methods. Eligible Sweeps Coin winnings can be redeemed once the applicable requirements have been met.
You should also take note of the available states before you decide whether or not to register, as Cider Casino is currently unavailable in Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey and Washington. Players living in California and New York can access Standard Play with Splash Coins, but you won’t be able to take part in Sweeps Coin prize redemptions.

Cider Casino Welcome Bonus and Daily Rewards
When we created our account, the advertised welcome reward was 20,000 Gold Coins and 0.3 Sweeps Coins. It was available straight after registration, so we didn’t need to make a purchase or enter a
Cider Casino promo code, which was a major plus.
We could also access the Daily Reward once our account was open. Cider allows verified players to claim this once per day, with the clock resetting at 00:00 UTC. The amount is displayed inside your account and may change, so it’s worth checking the reward before claiming it.
Selected Gold Coin packages may include free SC, but these purchases are completely optional. The prices and coin amounts are shown in the store and can change between offers.
Other Cider Casino Promotions for Existing Players
Although Cider Casino doesn’t currently offer a traditional VIP program, there are still many ways to collect extra coins after the welcome reward. We’ve kept the main options below brief, with a fuller breakdown available in our guide to
Cider Casino bonuses for existing players.
Daily Reward
Verified players can claim the Daily Reward once a day using the Daily Reward button, with the timer resetting at 00:00 UTC. The amount is shown in your account and can change, so check it before claiming.
Daily Missions and Challenges
Cider sets daily tasks that can unlock coins and other rewards. The task and the prize can change from one day to the next, so read the requirements before you start.
Gold Coin Package Offers
Some GC packages in the store come with free SC added. Buying them is optional, and the current prices and coin amounts are listed in the store.
Giveaways and Limited-Time Promotions
Cider also runs free-entry contests and shorter promotional events. Each one has its own entry instructions, reward and closing date.
Mail-In Entry
An approved postal request is worth 2 SC. Generate a single-use Postal Request Code in your account, then follow the handwritten entry instructions in the current Sweepstakes Rules. The code expires after 30 days.
Cider Casino VIP Program
Cider doesn’t currently offer a traditional VIP program. For regular players, extra coins come mainly from the Daily Reward, daily missions and limited-time promotions.
Cider Casino Games and Software Providers
Cider Casino currently advertises more than 500
sweepstakes games. The lobby leans heavily toward
sweepstakes slot games, but you’ll also find table games and shooting-style titles.
Some of the games visible during our Cider Casino online review included Zeus Power, Voltage Blitz Rapid, Cider Money Coming, 3 Super Hot Chillies and Timeless Diamonds: Hold and Win. You can browse by game type or provider, with studios such as 3 Oaks, Playson, RubyPlay, JILI, Kendoo, Enjoy Gaming and Penguin King represented on the official site.
Our Cider Casino Desktop and Mobile Experience
We found the desktop site simple to navigate, with clearly marked registration, rewards and game sections. Pages opened quickly during our testing, while the search and lobby categories made it easier to move through the larger game library.
You can also use Cider Casino through a mobile browser without downloading anything. The operator links to an iOS app and says its Android version is distributed through Google Play under the name Cider Casino Slots.
The mobile layout keeps the main account, currency and game controls within easy reach, although the exact experience may vary between the browser and app versions.
Cider Casino Purchases and Prize Redemptions
Purchasing Gold Coins is optional, and you can continue using the site through free rewards and alternative entry methods. Cider’s current terms confirm credit-card and ACH options for GC purchases, while the exact methods available to you are shown during checkout.
Keep in mind that only eligible Sweeps Coins can be used to request prizes. You need at least 100 eligible SC, and Cider may ask you to complete identity and payment checks before approving a request. Its official rules warn that processing may take up to 30 days, particularly when further verification is required.
How to Contact Cider Casino Support
We found a live-chat option during registration, which gave us somewhere to turn if we got stuck while creating the account. Cider also advertises 24/7 email support and says responses may take up to 12 hours.

Is Cider Casino Safe and Legit?
Cider Casino describes itself as a social casino rather than a real-money gambling site. Its website identifies Mystic Mirror Studio Limited as the operator and Aevorix Play Inc as its US payment agent, while the official Sweeps Rules name Relaxing Moonlight Games Inc as the sweepstakes sponsor.
The platform may request a government-issued ID, proof of address, facial verification and Social Security number validation before approving a prize. Its responsible-play controls also include Gold Coin purchase limits, SC play limits, time-outs and self-exclusion.

Five Cider Casino Rules That Are Easy to Miss
Some of Cider Casino’s most important conditions sit deep inside its official Sweeps Rules. We pulled out five that could affect your coin balance, promotions or prize requests.
Sweeps Coins can expire:
Your SC will expire if you don’t log in for 90 days. Signing back in before this point keeps the account active, but it’s still sensible to use or redeem eligible coins instead of leaving them untouched.
Playthrough isn’t always fixed:
SC collected through bonuses, daily rewards, purchases and mail-in entries must normally be played at least once. Cider can attach a higher requirement of up to 20x to certain promotions, so check the specific offer before claiming it.
Redemption checks can slow things down:
Cider processes one prize request per account each day. Redemptions worth $500 or more may need additional security checks and can be divided into several payments.
Mail-in codes have a deadline:
Each valid postal request awards 2 SC, but the required 12-digit Postal Request Code can only be used once and expires after 30 days. You must also copy the current statement shown in your account rather than reusing an older version.
You can only have one account:
Opening another account can result in the duplicate being closed and its coins forfeited. If you lose access to your original account, contact support instead of registering again.
Our Verdict on Cider Casino
Cider Casino gets many of the basics right. It took us only a few minutes to register, no purchase was needed to receive the welcome reward, and the 500+ game lobby offers more than enough choice for casual play. Daily rewards, missions and free entry methods also give you ways to collect additional coins without relying on optional purchases.
There are a few catches to weigh up. Cider doesn’t publish a traditional VIP program, the value of its Daily Reward can change, and you need at least 100 eligible SC before requesting a prize. Official rules also warn that processing may take up to 30 days. If you value a broad games lobby and several free ways to collect coins, Cider is worth considering, but it won’t be the strongest fit if quick redemptions or loyalty perks are your main priority.
