Kalshi is one of the many prediction markets sites that offers extensive coverage on YouTubers like Mr Beast. As well as giving people the chance to trade contracts on what the influencer will say during his next YouTube video (Feastable, water and prize are among the front-runners), the brand has been letting people predict how many YouTube subscribers Mr Beast will have by the end of the year.

Interpreting the Results on Mr Beast’s Potential Subscriber Count
At the time of writing this article, Mr Beast has a subscriber count of just over 453 million on his YouTube channel. While this is enough to make him the most subscribed individual creator on YouTube, he has still fallen some way short of the available markets.
After all, even the most skeptical market of Mr Beast getting at least 500 million subscribers has a Yes price of just 2¢. So if you bought this contract and the YouTube star somehow got another 47 million subscribers in the next three weeks, you would win the $1 contract which would give you 98¢ back as well as your original 2¢.
What’s interesting is that the Yes prices of the 600 billion and 700 billion subscriber counts are equally pessimistic, and Kalshi has even closed the markets for anyone buying a No contact for Mr Beast having a billion subscribers by the end of the year.
Why Mr Beast Might Prove the Markets Wrong
While it seems unlikely that Mr Beast is going to be able to get at least 500 million YouTube subscribers by the end of the year, it’s not completely impossible. After all, Kalshi is still letting you trade on this market, and here are the key reasons as to why Mr Beast might prove the skeptics wrong:
Romantic Interest
The YouTuber got engaged to his partner, Thea Booysen, on Christmas Day 2024, and so it seems that the festive season is a particularly romantic time of year for Mr Beast. There would be nothing like a surprise wedding to really boost those subscriber numbers, and so it’s going to be interesting to see what the rumor mill says in the next couple of weeks.
Philanthropic Ventures
Much of Mr Beast’s popularity is derived from his spectacular philanthropic activities. After all, the Beast Philanthropy organization has given itself the noble task of combating hunger, homelessness, and unemployment on a global scale. With Christmas being a notable time for giving, there’s every chance the Mr Beast might give away a charitable donation that will really make those YouTube subscription numbers swell.
Crazy Stunts
Of course, Mr Beast might just hit the 500 million subscribers mark simply by doing what he does best – carrying out amazing stunts and challenges. We have recently seen him recreating Squid Game and even carrying out scary endurance challenges such as escaping burning buildings and burying himself alive. As such, there’s a good chance that Mr Beast could seek to end the year with a bang by carrying out his biggest stunt yet.
