When we first compiled our
ADI Predictstreet review, we shared how important it is that you only use reputable prediction market platforms. The good news is that Plus500 is a legitimate prediction site. Plus500US Financial Services LLC is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Plus500US Inc. If you did not know, there are several options for futures trading on the site, including for prediction trading.
Plus500 operates as a Futures Commission Merchant (FCM) registered with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and a member of the National Futures Association (NFA). As an FCM, Plus500 has partnered with Kalshi, a CFTC-regulated Designated Contract Market (DCM). Thanks to this partnership, all future event prediction contracts and market prices are from Kalshiโs exchanges.
Since Plus500 is regulated by the CFTC, it is federally permitted in all 50 US states. However, there are specific rulings in place as the platform uses Kalshiโs exchange (restrictions in some states), so at the time of writing this review, prediction trading is prohibited in Minnesota, Nevada and Washington State. Also, buying and selling sports prediction positions is only available in 32 states, including in Kansas, South Dakota and Florida.
While we investigated the legality of Plus500, we also critiqued the security features on the site. We were pleased to see that the platform prioritizes user safety and there are advanced security measures in place. These security features include password-protected accounts, KYC checks and access to responsible prediction trading tools.
Insight Into the Plus500 Prediction Market Trading Experience
As we shared earlier, Plus500 has partnered with Kalshi, so you will find the same markets and prices as found on the Kalshi exchange. All prediction trades are in binary (Yes/No) with winning outcomes settling at $1 and losing prediction trades settling at $0.
The market prices range from $0.01 to $0.99, and when you enter a prediction position, there is a $0.02 fee ($0.01 trading fee and a $0.01 exchange fee). It is important to remember that if you hold your prediction position until the market settles there are no additional fees, however if you close your prediction contract before the market can settle you will incur an additional $0.02 fee.
Below is a list of the current markets for prediction trading:
๐ Sports

๐ฐ Crypto

๐ง๏ธ Climate

No Signs As Yet for Any Prediction Bonuses
When you register with Plus500 for the first time, you will notice that there is an exclusive welcome bonus of up to $200 for new traders. However, this offer does not include prediction trading, so at the time of writing, there are no prediction trading sign up offers for newcomers. Interestingly, there are no promotions for existing prediction traders either.
While this is disappointing to learn, we do hope that the site does release some tailored prediction market bonuses in the coming months. Should this be the case, we will update this review with the relevant details.
For now, though, you can visit our
Plus500 bonus
review for more details about the prediction trading experience and what potential bonuses could be in the pipeline. We have also shared several tips in that review to help you when buying and selling prediction contracts so that you can have a pleasant time on the site.
The Desktop Website Is Easy to Use
If you read our
Meta Arena review
on what we expect the desktop prediction trading experience to look like when the site launches, you would know that we expect prediction platforms to have a user-friendly desktop website. Well, since Plus500 is already live, we were pleased with the desktop prediction trading experience.
The desktop site is user-friendly, and it is easy to make prediction trades. The blue and white colors work well and are easy on the eye. There are several banners which make it easy to find what you are looking for, and the search tool means you do not have to waste time sifting through hundreds of markets to find your preferred future event prediction contract.
We spent time on every section of the desktop website, and all pages loaded quickly and were clutter-free. Overall, regardless of whether you are new to the prediction platform or a frequent visitor, you should not encounter any issues when making prediction trades using your laptop or PC.

Make Prediction Trades on the Go with the Mobile Apps
If you are out and about and want to make prediction trades, there are both dedicated Plus500 apps and a mobile-optimized website to use. The Plus500 apps are easy to use and, like the
Gemini Predictions prediction market
apps, can be downloaded from the official Google Play Store and Apple App Store. The mobile apps mirror each other, so both Android and iOS prediction traders should enjoy the same experience.
If you have limited storage space on your device, instead of downloading the mobile apps, you can use the mobile-optimized website. The mobile site mirrors the desktop version and is compatible with most devices, including iPhone and Samsung devices. Since the mobile site mirrors the desktop website you will find the same features, so you can buy and sell prediction contracts, contact the support team and make deposits and withdrawals on the go.

There Is an Encrypted Banking Platform to Use
The banking platform on Plus500 is similar to
Webull prediction market, and thanks to the encrypted banking platform, all prediction traders have access to safe and secure payment methods. Currently, crypto payments are not allowed, so you can make deposits and withdrawals with FIAT.
To fund your prediction market account, the accepted payment methods include debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and bank transfer. Per the terms and conditions, credit cards and prepaid cards are not accepted on the site. The minimum deposit is $10, and there are no processing fees when funding your account.
You will be allowed to withdraw from the site only after you have submitted your KYC documents (proof of ID and address). The withdrawal methods include bank transfer and debit card. Please note that the site charges a 1.75% withdrawal fee, capped at $150 per transaction. While it is never nice to incur a withdrawal fee, this is common among prediction sites, so it is not that surprising that Plus500 charges prediction traders a fee to withdraw. Also, based on our experience, the average withdrawal times range between one and three working days, which is quite speedy.
Trading in futures involves the risk of loss and is not suitable for every investor.
Our Ratings of the Customer Service
We scored the platform top marks with our Plus500 prediction market ratings for the customer service. Before contacting the team you should visit the Help Center as there are several FAQs including for general trading and prediction trading.
Instant support is available via the live chat, and it only takes a few minutes to connect with a human agent. Once the agent joins the chat, the interaction times are much quicker, and the agents provide accurate feedback. Email support is also available, and we prefer using this for detailed queries, as we can also attach any supporting documents. Social media is another option for contacting the team, and you can follow the official X, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok accounts.
When we used the different support channels, we found that the agents were friendly, knowledgeable and provided speedy feedback. It was also nice to see that when the agents did not know something, they asked for time to double-check the details rather than providing inaccurate information.
Final Thoughts – A Comprehensive Prediction Trading Experience
That concludes our review, and as you can see, the site is a welcome addition to the industry. There is a lot to like about prediction trading on Plus500, and the platform is secure, so you should not worry about missing information or stolen funds. Of course, there is also room for improvement, and we would like to see some bonuses and promos for prediction trading.
When it comes to the actual prediction trading experience, you should not have any issues. The Plus500 prediction markets are comprehensive, covering sports, crypto, politics, culture, economic and climate outcomes, and most prediction contracts have large market volumes and liquidity.
Before we wrap up, if you are interested in joining Plus500 to buy and sell prediction positions, the first step is to create a new account. Go ahead and use the links or banners on this page to sign up. Remember to be responsible when making prediction trades and have fun.
