Kalshi has impressed us with its huge range of prediction markets, and US customers can trade contracts for things like election results, sporting events, financials, economic forecasts, and even things celebrities and politicians might mention in their speeches.

Everything You Need to Know About the Kalshi Referral Program
There is indeed a Kalshi referral code and this is a critical component of the overall refer-a-friend scheme. It allows you to invite your friends, and potentially get a $25 bonus for each successful referral that meets the eligibility requirements.
Eligibility for the Kalshi Referral Code
Not everyone is eligible for the referral program and there are specific things you need to do. We have created a simple requirements list below:
Be over 18.
Live in one of the eligible states.
Have a valid Kalshi account.
Complete the full KYC check.
Have made at least $10 in trades.
From what we can see, the only ineligible states are Arizona, Illinois, Maryland, Michigan, Montana, New Jersey, Ohio, Massachusetts, and Nevada, as Kalshi does not operate in them. You’ll also note that you have to have made at least $10 in trades before you can get your referral code.
The complete KYC check involves providing your personal details such as your address and phone number, plus a valid photo ID like your passport, and uploading a live photo. This is a one-time thing, and the approval should be quick.
How the Kalshi Referral Program Works
The Kalshi referral program couldn’t be easier to understand. You need to sign up with a valid account and fully verify your ID. Once you’ve done that, as stated, you’ll need to make at least $10 in trades to get your Kalshi referral code. You can then follow these steps to use it:
Log on to your Kalshi account.
Click on the top-right menu icon.
Click the “Invite Friends” button.
Copy your Kalshi referral code.
Give it to your friends.
Once you have given your friend your code, the rest is up to them. They have to register an account, and verify their ID. Once they’ve done this, they need to click on the menu icon as you did, and click the “enter referral code” link. A pop-up box then appears where they can enter the code you have given them – this will link their account to your referral.
After that, they have to make $25 of trades within 30 days of signing up, and both you and the referee will get a $25 bonus. The bonus will be credited directly to your account as cash, and as far as we can see, there are no wagering requirements – you should be able to withdraw the bonus if you want, or use it to make more

Pros and Cons of the Kalshi Referral Bonus
We think this is one of the better referral programs we’ve seen for prediction sites in the US. It’s easy to understand, the terms and conditions are simple, and there appears to be no limit on how many people you can refer. However, the bonus is relatively small, compared to the potential referral bonuses often available at online casinos and sportsbooks.
