There Isn’t a Matchbook Predictions Bonus for New Traders

During our review, we wanted to confirm if there’s a Matchbook Predictions bonus for new traders in the UK. We found that there currently isn’t one. The welcome offers on the site are for the Matchbook Exchange product, not for Predictions.

Matchbook Predictions Usability – An Intuitive Site for Event Contracts Trading

We knew that to have a well-rounded Matchbook Predictions test, we had to evaluate the site’s usability. At the top of the site, tabs are displaying “Staked”, “Cash”, and “Add”. The funds used to place orders appear in the Staked tab, while the available balance is displayed under Cash. To make deposits to your account, you click the “Add” tab.

Banners display some of the major prediction markets featured on the site, highlighting major ongoing tournaments and competitions as they unfold. In the main lobby, Matchbook Predictions features different sports, including football, ice hockey, tennis, baseball, and more. We also noticed that the prediction site features a responsible trading banner below these events.

Looking at the static bottom bar, we found tabs for Markets, Menu, Portfolio, Promotions, and Account. The Markets tab displays available event contracts, while in the Menu, the prediction market categories are arranged vertically for quick selection. Moreover, when we clicked the Portfolio tab, we found our positions, open orders, settled trades and trade history. These groupings also made prediction trading more intuitive for us.

Unfortunately, when we clicked Promotions, no promotions were available at the time of our review. Moving on to our account, we found tabs for account balances, settings, responsible trading, and account verification. The site’s footer reveals more details about its operation, licence, payment methods, customer support, rules and regulations.

Matchbook Predictions’ appearance is direct and streamlined. The site’s use of mainly red and black keeps the interface simple and helps traders focus more on the event contracts available.

There’s No Matchbook Predictions Market App

Matchbook Predictions does have apps in the Play Store and App Store. And during registration, we found dedicated links to download the app. However, upon downloading and installing it, we couldn’t engage in prediction trading. This is because the app doesn’t yet feature the product.

Funding Methods on the Matchbook Predictions Site

The site’s payment methods improved our Matchbook Predictions rating. We found major options, including Visa, Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller, Apple Pay and Google Pay. These funding methods are available for both deposits and withdrawals, with a minimum limit of £10. Availability may vary by location.

Moreover, Matchbook Predictions operates a “closed loop policy” that allows you to withdraw only using the same payment method used for deposits. Also, you have to undergo Know Your Customer checks before you can make your first deposit.

Matchbook Predictions Offers Comprehensive Customer Support

When it comes to customer support, Matchbook Predictions doesn’t fall short compared to the UK prediction market reviews we’ve conducted. The prediction site offers live chat from Monday to Sunday during selected hours. We engaged with the site’s agent and received helpful responses within 2 minutes.

You can also request a callback via live chat to speak with the site’s agent. We tried this option, and it was equally as effective. Making email enquiries is supported as well. Furthermore, the Matchbook Predictions FAQ section is available, with a link that leads you directly to the page. You can find out more about the site’s funding methods, account verification, login issues and more in the FAQ section.

Matchbook Predictions Is a Legitimate UK Prediction Site

Triplebet Limited operates Matchbook Predictions. Its licences with the UK Gambling Commission and the Alderney Gambling Control Commission also extend to its prediction markets. And only traders aged 18 or older are allowed on the site. Matchbook Predictions performs Know Your Customer checks to verify this requirement.

Before prediction trading begins, you’ll be required to provide documents for identity verification, such as a driver’s licence, a full passport, or a national ID card. The site also requests address verification using documents such as a utility bill, tax bill, or bank statement.

To ensure security, Matchbook Predictions uses SSL encryption and features two-factor authentication for added security during logins. Also, verified traders’ funds have “High Protection”, which means you can get your money back if the prediction site ever becomes insolvent.

Furthermore, Matchbook Predictions offers responsible trading tools, including net deposit and gross deposit limits. You can use these tools directly on the site.

Prediction Markets on Matchbook Predictions

Matchbook Predictions currently covers game and match winner markets, tournament winners, key sporting specials, politics, and current affairs, with additional events the Matchbook team curates from time to time. Sports make up the majority of the prediction markets on offer.

Baseball, football, basketball, tennis, cricket, snooker, darts, golf, and ice hockey are all available for prediction trading. With live trading supported across these sports too, we were able to place trades on major events across the darts calendar.

In the politics category, Matchbook Predictions offers event contracts for UK and US politics, covering questions like how the new UK government performs under Prime Minister Andy Burnham, who took office in July 2026 following Keir Starmer’s resignation.

Top Tips to Maximise Your Experience on Matchbook Predictions

Here are three tips to help you maximise your experience trading event contracts on Matchbook Predictions. They include:

  • ✅ Complete verification after registration

Matchbook Predictions only allows traders to engage in prediction trading after verifying their identity and address. Hence, once you’re through with your registration, complete your verification. Without doing this, you can’t deposit to start trading event contracts.

  • 📊 Keep tabs on your positions

One of the main selling points of prediction market apps in the UK, like Matchbook Predictions, is that you’re not tied to a prediction. You can sell your event contracts early, before the event happens and they settle. This lets you lock in wins or cut your losses. Remember to keep tabs on your positions so you can take advantage of this feature.

  • 🆘 Get help from Matchbook Predictions customer support

Whenever you have an issue with your Matchbook Predictions account or trading event contracts on the site, use any of the customer services available on the prediction site. Getting help directly from Matchbook Predictions customer representatives helps you resolve your issue quickly and doesn’t put your account at risk of suspension.

Trading Predictions at Matchbook Predictions in the UK Is Easy

When we signed up for our Matchbook Predictions review, we didn’t find a welcome bonus for new Predictions traders. The two welcome offers on the site are for the Exchange product only.

We found the site to be intuitive and could easily place trades on the featured events across sports, politics, and current affairs. Making live predictions was just as easy as pre-event trading. When it comes to account funding, major payment methods used in the UK include Visa, Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

The site’s customer support is also well-rounded. We could get assistance via live chat, phone, email, and an FAQ page explaining the Matchbook Predictions prediction market.
