Fluffy Favourites Demo First Impressions

On first launch, Fluffy Favourites presents a colourful fairground. Much of the backdrop is a green field, but you’ll spot a red-and-white circus tent on the left, a bright sun at the centre, and a rainbow on the right. The entire design is cartoonish.

Looking at the reels, it’s a rectangular 5×3 setup with vertical lines separating the columns. It’s filled with stuffed animals, including a hippo, dragon, monkey, turtle, lion, and the signature pink elephant.

What’s unique about Fluffy Favourites is that each symbol appears hand-drawn. That’s not something you see in many alternative online slots in the UK. In terms of music, there’s actually no soundtrack in Fluffy Favourites. You only hear effects while the reels spin.

The Fluffy Favourites demo design is the same as when you launch the game in real money mode. If you fancy simple, playful slots, this title will make a good play. However, if you prefer more serious or design-heavy games, the Eyecon slot may not interest you.

Standout Fluffy Favourites Features

In Fluffy Favourites, the leading features are the Free Games round and the Toybox Pick Bonus. Also, there are multiple Scatter symbols, each serving different purposes. Let’s explain these features in detail:

  • 🐘 The Pink Elephant

This is the slot’s special symbol and serves as both a Wild and a Scatter. As a Wild, the Pink Elephant substitutes for all other symbols and doubles any winning combination it forms. Meanwhile, it functions as a Scatter to activate the Free Games feature.

  • 🎮 Free Games

You trigger Free Games rounds anytime you land 3+ Pink Elephants on the reels. The slot awards 15 free spins for 3 Pink Elephants, 20 for 4, and 25 for five. Any wins during the Free Games round are tripled, and you can retrigger the feature up to 15 more times by hitting 3+ Pink Elephants.

  • 🧸 Toybox Pick Bonus

This bonus round activates if you match 3+ Claw Scatter symbols anywhere on the reels. It’s a pick bonus in which you have to select plush toys from a claw machine. Each selection reveals a prize, with a maximum of 100x. You receive the same number of picks as the amount of Claw Scatters that trigger the round.

  • 📈 Volatility and Return to Player (RTP)

Fluffy Favourites has a 95% RTP, which is slightly below the 96% industry average for slot games. Volatility is high, so wins happen less frequently but can be big when they do.

Note that winning is based on chance because Fluffy Favourites uses a random number generator (RNG), so be responsible when using real money on the slot. Demo mode is a good way to try and learn the slot for free, but you can’t win real money in demo mode, and there are no online casino bonuses during free-play.

What Does Fluffy Favourites Do Well?

Following our tests of the Fluffy Favourites free play, these are the areas where the slot performs best:

  • Unique, simple theme: The UK slot market is filled with many Egyptian-, Greek-, and Asian-mythology-themed slots. However, Fluffy Favourites introduces a different perspective with its fluffy animal design and hand-drawn visuals.
  • Multifunctional Pink Elephant symbol: Changing from Wild to Scatter as necessary makes the Pink Elephant in Fluffy Favourites special. Whenever it appears on the reels, it can increase the potential of your spins.
  • Free Games retrigger: Fluffy Favourites allows reactivating the Free Games up to 15 times in a row. It’s a higher retrigger cap than most other slots.

How Could Fluffy Favourites Be Better?

Here are genuine areas where we believe Fluffy Favourites could improve:

  • Below-average RTP: The slot’s 95% RTP is low and is a solid reason to skip this slot. The best slots in the market have RTPs of 96% or above, with some going even higher.
  • No soundtrack: Playing Fluffy Favourites can feel dull since there’s no continuous background music.

Does Fluffy Favourites Stay Entertaining?

Yes, Fluffy Favourites stays entertaining as you play. For us, the main reasons are the two bonus features. The Free Games round includes 3x multipliers and allows up to 15 additional retriggers. That alone makes the base game engaging, as you anticipate landing 3+ Pink Elephants. Next up, the Toybox Pick feature introduces an entirely different bonus round where you pick plush toys for up to 100x in prizes.

However, we recognise that the high volatility means you can go many spins without matching symbols. If you prefer frequent, smaller wins, Fluffy Favourites may not be as entertaining.

Our Verdict – Fluffy Favourites Stands Out for Its Theme

Fluffy Favourites is unarguably a favourite slot for many UK online casino players. The slot merits its status thanks to the unique theme, special symbols, and multiple bonus features. However, the RTP is lower than average.
