Rivalry expands casino offering and enters slots category

“Slots are far-and-away one of the most popular online casino genres and will markedly complement our existing iGaming offering in terms of both betting handle and player satisfaction.
“We’ve also maintained our high product standard by uniquely incorporating slots into our proprietary Casino.exe platform, which will allow us to continue scaling our iGaming catalog without compromising the premium experiences that users come to Rivalry for,” Salz added.
The release will add more than two dozen slot-style games to Rivalry’s casino offering, which generated C$57.5m in betting handle in Q2 2023.
The inclusion of slots is expected to help capture and retain a larger share of the iGaming audience.
Design nostalgia
Rivalry Slots now has its own custom-branded page within Casino.exe, featuring an early-2000s internet design to present games in a unique visual environment.
The slots page includes interactive elements and hidden surprises, enhancing the overall betting experience.“Our product philosophy is at its core about creating fundamentally entertaining experiences,” explained Rivalry’s director of product design David King.
“Rivalry Slots delivers that entertainment factor by wrapping an ordinary product in design nostalgia to not only be relevant to a young Millennial or Gen Z customer, but also strategically differentiate our offering from the countless other online casinos players have to choose from.”
Rivalry’s slots category is available from today in most of its international markets and will be released in Ontario in the coming weeks.
Earlier this month, Rivalry already made several enhancements to its online casino product suite, including integrating the Casino.exe platform into its iOS mobile app.
This means that Ontario residents can access and play Casino.exe via the Rivalry app, which initially focused on esports and sports betting when it was launched in May.
Rivalry has been performing well recently and stood out as one of the top-performing gambling stocks, boasting a 30% increase in value by the end of August.
