The Swedish Gambling Authority (SGA) has this week issued multiple statements banning unlicensed operators from targeting Swedish consumers.

Yesterday (4 July) the regulator announced it had banned Small House BV from offering gambling in Sweden without the necessary licence.

Small House BV appears to be the operator of Curaçao-licensed crypto casino, BC.GAME.

On Monday, the regulator also clarified that Estonia-based Hitz Gaming OÜ was banned from targeting Swedish players due to its lack of a local licence.

Hitz Gaming operates multiple casino brands including Winnerz Casino, Trickz Casino and Wisho Casino, according to AskGamblers.

Last week, the regulator issued another set of bans, this time to four companies offering so-called ‘skins’ gambling, where in-game items are traded and used to bet online.

“Websites that offer skin games cannot get a Swedish gaming licence and can often lack age control,” the SGA said, and therefore issued a warning that the four companies in question were banned from targeting Sweden.

One of the banned companies, ITSFAIL Limited, appears to be connected to skins gambling websites GGDROP and CSFAIL. Another company, Teamfail Limited, was also banned.

The SGA also announced that NewEra BV, a Curaçao and Cyprus-licensed online gambling operator, and JER-TEAM NV, another Curaçao-licensed operator, had been banned from targeting Sweden.

Earlier this year in March, the SGA banned three other operators of skins gambling websites.
