Conexus Group has launched a new specialist M&A advisory firm focused on the intersection of payments, fintech and iGaming.

Former Conexus Group chief commercial officer Simon Stokes (pictured) will head up the new firm, Conexus Capital.

Stokes brings relevant experience from his time as senior partner of payments and fintech at executive recruitment business Greenings International.

The firm said it intends to leverage the resources of the wider Conexus Group including in recruitment, training and strategy consulting services, to support its M&A advisory work.

“We have a proven track record of success in the payments and fintech sector, with unrivalled credentials and the most experienced team in the market,” said Stokes.

“Conexus Capital’s new leadership and consultancy teams have deep, senior-level operational experience within the industry, which enables them to deliver robust execution support and strategic advice.”

The firm will be the second M&A advisory firm under the Conexus umbrella after Partis Solutions, which focuses on iGaming.

“We’re thrilled to extend our portfolio of services with the launch of Conexus Capital,” said group CEO Rob Dowling.

“In today’s ever-evolving payments and fintech landscape, where agility and innovation are imperative for growth, we’re excited to offer the specialist support needed to navigate challenges and seize opportunities.

“Conexus Capital represents our dedication to empowering the growth and success of our industry, and we’re excited to embark on this journey of innovation with our clients, partners and outstanding consultancy team.”
