Rivalry has announced several enhancements to its online casino product suite, including the integration of the Casino.exe platform into its iOS mobile app.

Ontario residents will now be able to access and play Casino.exe, Rivalry’s proprietary iGaming platform, which “blends 90s nostalgia with interactive entertainment,” via the Rivalry app which originally launched in May with just esports and sports betting.

Betting handle and player registrations have increased by 15% month-over-month since the app was released, according to the operator.

In addition to the app integration, Rivalry has also added eight new games to its casino platform, including a mix of game shows, table games and instant games.

“The update will add game variety and scale to the company’s casino offering as it continues to grow in popularity on Rivalry, generating C$57.5m in Q2 2023 betting handle,” the firm said.

The business will continue to grow its portfolio of casino games with originally developed titles, as well as further developing the Casino.exe platform with more interactive and entertainment-based features, it added.

“Casino.exe has put a stake in the ground for the future of online casinos and how the industry can push the traditional online betting experience toward something much more fun and engaging for a demographic that demands it.”

– Rivalry co-founder and CEO Steven Salz

“Since launching Casino.exe last year we’ve diversified our revenue mix and materially increased betting handle,” said Rivalry co-founder and CEO, Steven Salz.

“Our emphasis on tech and design innovation continues to serve as a catalyst for our products, allowing us to drive organic interest and activity in casino with limited marketing spend.

“Today’s announcement adds greater accessibility to our exclusive casino platform and builds on a unique offering with more games and variety.”

“Casino.exe has put a stake in the ground for the future of online casinos and how the industry can push the traditional online betting experience toward something much more fun and engaging for a demographic that demands it,” Salz concluded.

Alongside the release of the operator’s Q2 results in August, Salz underscored the importance of product innovation and brand maturity in Rivalry’s pursuit of profitability.

After generating C$8.5m of revenue during the quarter, the company said it has its sights set on achieving profitability during the first half of 2024.
