Slot developer Blueprint Gaming has strengthened its senior leadership team with the appointment of industry veteran Nick Wright as chief commercial officer (CCO).

Wright arrives at Blueprint from Bally’s Corporation, where he most recently served as SVP commercial content, having also worked as group head of business development at Gamesys prior to its acquisition.

Wright began his iGaming career in 2007 with a six-year stint as a sales director at Playtech.

He then worked at Amaya Gaming for more than two years, before making the switch to Gamesys Group in July 2015.

In his new role, Wright will oversee Blueprint’s UK and International growth strategy as the supplier seeks to penetrate regulated markets worldwide.

Blueprint Gaming MD Matt Cole said: “The Blueprint team are thrilled to welcome such a well-respected individual to the group.

“Nick’s operational experience with some of the industry’s biggest brands will be hugely beneficial to Blueprint.

“I’m really excited to be joining such a well-established business with an extremely ambitious and fun-loving team.”

“As we step up our efforts to simultaneously support our established partners and extend our International reach, we have built a team that is capable of achieving our targets,” he added.

UK-based Blueprint Gaming specialises in creating online slot games. The firm’s products are also available on more than 100,000 land-based gaming terminals across the UK, Germany and Italy.

The company is owned by the German-headquartered Gauselmann Group of companies, a €2.57bn turnover gambling business established in 1957.

“I’m really excited to be joining such a well-established business with an extremely ambitious and fun-loving team,” said Wright.

“I have known Matt Cole and [director of marketing] Jo Purvis for many years and have always been impressed by the quality of the product and the people.

“It feels great to be bringing my expertise to support such a successful commercial team both in the UK and on some really interesting international growth projects,” he added.
